Sixty-six-year-old Raghuveer Singh from Laawad village, Chamoli district, had been suffering from a ventral hernia for many years. The outreach team of the Hans Foundation General Hospital organized a health camp in Laawad, where Dr. Pradeepta advised him to get admitted to the THF General Hospital in Satpuli immediately.

Raghuveer Singh was admitted to the Geriatric ward under Dr. Aakash Deep's supervision. After a preliminary investigation, Dr. Aakash referred him to Dr. Raymond Daimari for general surgery. Dr. Raymond performed successful surgery on August 30, 2022, with Anaesthesia specialist Dr. Suresh Chandra and the O.T. team.

The patient was discharged after receiving post-operative care. Raghuveer Singh was relieved from years of pain and misery, and his happiness knew no bounds.
